Eggstravaganza is an event in which we open Arvada West for an egg hunt. Children can find and eat candy, participate in games and get their faces painted while surrounded in chalk drawings and a lollipop garden. We are looking for donations to go towards Ralston House which is a non-profit organization that helps provide assistance for children in domestic abuse situations. (POSTPONED DUE TO COVID)

Senior/Grandparent Prom is an event in which Seniors (and their grandkids) from around the community can get dressed up and have an evening out. This unifying event features fairy lights, a spaghetti dinner and drinks, and a whole night of dancing across generations. The event will be held at Arvada West High School on May 4th from 4:30 - 7 p.m with dinner starting at 5:00 p.m. (POSTPONED DUE TO COVID)

Trick-or-Treat Street is a costumed event where children from the surrounding community can collect candy through our mystical forest themed school. Volunteers for the event will be dressed up and able to entertain children in a safe trick-or-treating environment. Children can play games, participate in a costume contest, and be lead on a magical journey full of face painting, slime, and balloons.

Student Leadership Conference has our NHS officers  come together with the administration at Arvada West to find a way to boost our student leadership in order to foster a more inclusive community, one filled with pride for our school. From academics, to sports, to clubs, our goal is to create one united Arvada West that can work as a team to make this school the best place to be not only for its current students but for its future students as well. As one of the NHS pillars, leadership is one of our top priorities as a group. To create inclusion through leadership is one way that NHS can contribute to the unity of Arvada West.

Angel Giving Tree is a donation run event where we give a Christmas to eight families selected by the counseling department. We raise money, buy and wrap presents, and give these families the Christmas that they can’t afford. Be sure to bring your unwrapped gifts to the office.
